RLWL stands for ‘Remote Location Waiting List’. With the less availability of seats,
this waiting list is designed for those who travel from the stations lying between
the originating station and terminating station.
Throughout the train route, there are several stations located in remote areas
from where train pick up the passengers. To provide the enough seat availability
to the travelers of such location, the separate quota is generated, and this quota
is named as ‘RNWL – Remote Location Waiting List’.
However, the ticket confirmation chances are less in RNWL, but the ticket can be
easily confirmed if any of the confirmed ticket for the same route gets cancelled.
The cancellation procedure for RLWL is same as GNWL and PQWL.
